Would Build-A-Bear outfits fit AG dolls?

I ventured into a mall today because I needed to buy some Clinique things at Macy's. I strolled by a Build-A-Bear store and went in because a Santa outfit caught my eye. Do BAB items fit AG? It was only $9.99, and there was even a little beard available for $1.99. Has anybody ever bought BAB items for their AG. Some of the outfits I looked at seemed a little wide in girth.

OT: The mall was not bad today. I was able to get very close parking in front of Penney's, and I did buy a few little things and never had to wait in long lines. I purposefully avoided shopping yesterday, plus my youngest son is playing in a basketball tournament all weekend (they've lost both games so far but they've played very well).

It might be worth taking a doll in there and trying on the outfit. The clothes are not as well made as AG. But still some are very cute.

The outfits fit AGs but not well. Laura and I took my Susanna and her Tess to BAB and Susanna tried on a Tinkerbell costume. It was too short and a bit tight over her clothes. Susanna also wore a BAB angel dress for her Halloween costume. It fit fine width wise over her clothes but was too short to be a real dress.

No, they do not fit. I have a ton of build a bears and BAB clothing... the necks are HUGE, and the arms are too short. The pants fit fat PM dolls okay but not great.

I was actually going to see if they carried a Tiara since Marisols didn't come with her outfit to avoid buying the spotlight stage but never did get around to it. Does anyone know if they do and if it would work with AG?

I have gotten several accessories (Hats, bags, ponchos) and they are in good proportion.
The outfits, on the other hand, are too short and to fat, even for my chubbier AGs

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll pass on the BAB outfit. From what I saw first-hand, and from what you're all saying, the actual outfits are too big and are sloppy in fit, but the accessories are fine.

Hi, I was just in today at Build a Bear and did try an outfit on my new AGOT #25 and they are a tad big, the collar is wide on them and the outfits are big, she looked too funny and ridiculous with the outfit on.

They do though fit CBKs, which i hope they do. I bought the Mrs Santa one for DJ.

Also, they have holes for tails and are nowhere near as well made as AG outfits. The hats fit Gotz Little Sisters perfectly except for the holes for ears!
